- Detailed site surveys to minimise civil works and delays
- Hauled NBN fibre 2 km through pit & pipe infrastructure to the comms room
- Installed new fibre joints in underground pits
- Deployed a technician with a FUJIKURA 88R splicer to fuse FSL-12F to SDS-1F cable
- OTDR testing (12 km loop) to verify cable integrity end-to-end
- Activated the SFP to switch on the signal to the NOKIA 7210 SAS-K device
- Used Tera Term to automate BNTD configuration and data collection
- Laid final cabling and installed NBN gear to future-proof for more customers
